Zong has launched IDEOS Android phone in Pakistan brand by Huawei. It is equipped with the operating system v2.2 froyo. The price is PKR 15,999 which is very attractive s compared to the prices of HTC Android phones.
But I think this set will only work with Zong SIM. So I want to know if this set can be unlocked for the other providers? Then it will be a great deal to use Android phone in this price.

Ever since I attended a session on android development, I have been thinking strongly to focus of mobile apps than the web apps.. need to buy one of these mobiles and start saying hello world soon. 🙂

Yup. Even I want to play more on my cell phone with apps. Rather using it for text and calling. 🙂 I like it. Come up with some idea in android app and spread it like a fire.
If this set will be unlocked, I will buy it. And will play with Android too. Because HTC Hero set is quite expensive.
